How Tyneside handles website enquiries and newsletter signups, and how to ask about your information.

Updated 22 September 2026

Who to contact

This website is operated by JTS.DIS Pty Ltd trading as Tyneside Disabilities Training, based in Banora Point, New South Wales. This notice covers the website, its enquiry forms and newsletter signups.

Contact Jane at jts.distraining@gmail.com or 0413 775 133. You can also ask for this information in a format that works for you.

What you choose to share

  • General enquiries: your name, email, message, chosen topic and permission to respond, plus a phone number or organisation if you provide them.
  • Customised-program enquiries: your name, email, organisation if supplied, setting, proposed topic, goals, preferences and permission to discuss your brief.
  • Newsletter signups: your email, optional first name, consent wording, signup and confirmation times, and unsubscribe choices.

We use enquiry details to respond and discuss your request. Providing information is voluntary, but we need a way to contact you to reply. You can browse without making an enquiry or subscribing. We also keep request references, delivery status and security records to operate the forms and reduce spam.

Keep enquiries general. Do not send participant names, diagnoses, health reports, NDIS numbers, passwords or payment details. Suitable arrangements for any information needed later can be discussed with Jane.

Your newsletter choice

An enquiry does not subscribe you to the newsletter. You join only after choosing to subscribe and confirming through the email link. Use the unsubscribe link in your welcome email or newsletter, or contact Jane, to stop newsletter messages. This does not stop essential replies about an enquiry or an existing service arrangement.

Where your information goes

  • Netlify hosts the website and stores form, enquiry and newsletter consent records. The general Contact form also sends a notification to our business mailbox.
  • Resend sends newsletter confirmation and welcome emails, customised-program enquiries and acknowledgements. It also holds confirmed newsletter contact details and subscription preferences.
  • Google Gmail provides the business mailbox used to receive enquiries and correspond with you.

These providers may handle information outside Australia, including in the United States. Resend stores customer data in the United States; Google operates servers in several countries. Provider details are available in Netlify's privacy information, Resend's data-handling information and Google's privacy policy.

Website security and browsing

The website uses HTTPS. Hosting and email services may record technical information, such as IP addresses, browser details and delivery events, to provide their services and protect against misuse. The website's own scripts do not use advertising trackers or save form details in browser storage. Keep confirmation, unsubscribe and download links private.

Keeping and removing records

Enquiry records and emails remain in the form systems and business mailbox until removed. Newsletter records keep a history of consent and opt-out choices. The website does not automatically delete these records after a fixed period, and unsubscribing does not itself erase them.

Contact Jane to request removal or to ask what is held. Your request can be considered alongside any records needed to resolve an enquiry, respect an opt-out or meet a legal obligation. Provider delivery logs and backups have their own retention arrangements.

Access, corrections and privacy concerns

Email or call Jane to request access to your information, correct it or raise a privacy concern. Say what you would like checked and how you prefer to be contacted. We may need to confirm your identity before disclosing or changing personal information.

For a complaint, describe what happened and the outcome you are seeking. Jane will review the concern and respond. If it remains unresolved, you can consult the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner about available complaint options.
